About Us
The Golden Valley Walking Club believes that walking together in groups is an excellent way to make new friends, engage socially, and improve health and well-being, whilst exploring both nature and the countryside.
We run around 35 short and long guided walks each year, walking in Herefordshire, Powys, Monmouthshire, Newent, Gloucestershire, The Brecon Beacons and The Wye Valley
Club membership is free and open to everyone who would like to walk.
We are delighted to announce that in May 2024 the GVWC was awarded £10,500 by the The National Lottery Community Fund
